With the year coming to an end and only a few days left to a well-merited winter break, the PTA organized the first Teacher Appreciation Days of this school year.

At Hisar it was held on December 6th and what a great event it was! Children brought flowers for their teachers, parents sent in many delicious treats, and our room parents together with parent volunteers helped set up tables and decorate. Hisar teachers and staff enjoyed treats throughout the day and truly felt appreciated.

Marmara followed one week later, on December 13th. The teachers’ cafeteria was transformed into a festive banquet room with Christmas decorations, including a tree, swinging music, and an impressive buffet parents had contributed of very tasty delicacies from around the world. The room quickly filled with laughter, spirits were high, and nearly 90 teachers and staff members enjoyed the treat very much.

All IICS teachers and staff members expressed their wholehearted thank you for these very special days and we, the PTA, would like to thank you, parents, room parents, and parent volunteers for making Teacher Appreciation Day such a great one for all our teachers and staff.
