CERN is the largest particle physics laboratory in the world and home to the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), the biggest, most powerful
particle accelerator on earth.

This fall, IICS Physics students have the incredible opportunity to travel to CERN for a firsthand view of one of the biggest feats of science and engineering… and to connect it to what they are studying in both Physics as well as Theory of Knowledge.

Thirteen students will join DP Physics Teacher, Jaima Holland, along with Communications Coordinator (and major physics enthusiast), Jennifer Gokmen.  Students who are interested in physics, robotics, engineering, and TOK issues are very much looking forward to the trip!
